Katy Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in South Texas, is gearing up for its highly anticipated “Celebrating Women” Runway Event and Women’s Expo sponsored by John Eagle Acura on September 28-29. Popular KHOU-11 News morning anchor and Emmy-nominated journalist Lily Jang will serve as the guest host of the high-energy, high-fashion Runway Event produced by the well-known Neal Hamil Agency. “As our signature event, Celebrating Women offers a unique opportunity to showcase Katy Mills’ impressive, fashion-forward and value-oriented line-up of more than 175 popular stores,” said Cynthia Stansberry, director of marketing and business development at Katy Mills. “We are excited to deliver a fashionable experience for women of all ages to further showcase our unrivaled brand of shopping with the best outlet and value retail stores.” Katy Mills’ Celebrating Women attendees will be dazzled by a high-energy, trendsetting fashion show hosted by KHOU-11 News morning anchor Lily Jang at 7 p.m. on Fri., September 28. Professional models will strut the oversized catwalk in the season’s hottest fall/winter fashions at a great value from Katy Mills’ collection of chic retailers, including Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, DKNY, Kenneth Cole Company Store and more. Jang, a Houston native and University of Texas in Austin graduate, has been honored twice by The Huffington Post as a Twitter Powerhouse for her social media interaction. She is a fitness fanatic who enjoys mentoring, traveling the world, trying new cuisines and micro-blogging about her adventures on Facebook. On the following day, Sat., September 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., a free Women’s Expo on will showcase the best health and beauty products and services for women of all ages. This day will also include a series of Style Stops, interactive fashion and style experiences designed to entertain and inspire all shoppers. These in-store events, hosted by retailers in Katy Mills’ Fashion District bearing a Style Stops sign in front of the store, include special discounts, informal modeling, trunk shows, personal shoppers, giveaways, entertainment, refreshments and more to help women look and feel their best.
