Thankful

The good folks behind a New York based lifestyle magazine, BRONZE MAGAZINE, felt I was worthy of a feature in their publication. A feature in their WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH: Women Trailblazers Issue 2013...I am in awe, amazed, and excited to see my name amongst women that are striving to make a positive change. *Blessed*
 I was not apart of this feature because I have Celebrity Stylist, Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist, or Celebrity Fashion Stylist at the start of my name. I was apart of this feature because of the work that I've done with the YOUTH and WOMEN from all walks of life. Let’s use it in a sentence…or two…or three…

 With a style as kooky as mines I couldn’t help but to be drawn to this Houstonian when I spotted her a few years ago! When she and I met, well at the end of our meeting last year, I handed her a shirt that screamed kooky. I handed it to her because I knew, all too well, that she’d give this lively piece LIFE. With that natural hair, stacked arm, and other pieces to finish the look off she did just as I imagined! Go heeeeeeeead on Rei…wait…I don’t think I ever saw Mrs. Reiko in a pair of denim jeans! Again, my country a#% says GO HEAD ON REIKO!

At "IT" Again

Houston...we have a hottie...

THE HOUSTON WARDROBE STYLIST/COSTUME DESIGNER...

 Amazing how one question can spark a trail of memories! My sister phoned this morning and asked “Who is REBECCA WEINBERG?” And my memory bank instantly replied “That stylist from Houston with the pretty TEXAS tattoo?” I then thought: I never did a “DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS…STYLE!!!” post in regards to Rebecca! And I need to be popped for forgetting about the person who made me think “That is it! I want to do what she does as a hobby!” My thoughts exactly after seeing an episode of the STYLE Network’s “THE LOOK FOR LESS” waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day (Shout out to SISTAH OF HARLEM for inspiring me via the “THE LOOK FOR LESS” during that time as well). I followed Rebecca’s career, online and on TV, for a year or two after that. But once she started working as Costume Designer/Wardrobe Stylist, along side Patricia Field, for the “SEX IN THE CITY” cast it seems Rebecca was no longer on TV as often as she had been in the past. And with that I’d forgotten about her…UNTIL NOW!
