Amazing how one question can spark a trail of memories! My sister phoned this morning and asked “Who is REBECCA WEINBERG?” And my memory bank instantly replied “That stylist from Houston with the pretty TEXAS tattoo?” I then thought: I never did a “DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS…STYLE!!!” post in regards to Rebecca! And I need to be popped for forgetting about the person who made me think “That is it! I want to do what she does as a hobby!” My thoughts exactly after seeing an episode of the STYLE Network’s “THE LOOK FOR LESS” waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day (Shout out to SISTAH OF HARLEM for inspiring me via the “THE LOOK FOR LESS” during that time as well). I followed Rebecca’s career, online and on TV, for a year or two after that. But once she started working as Costume Designer/Wardrobe Stylist, along side Patricia Field, for the “SEX IN THE CITY” cast it seems Rebecca was no longer on TV as often as she had been in the past. And with that I’d forgotten about her…UNTIL NOW!
Thanks for the inspiration Rebecca!
Here’s some Rebecca info from IMDb:

FROM AUSTIN TO MSN HOMEPAGE
Extremely excited to see Austin's FEATHERS BOUTIQUE on MSN's homepage this morning! I've mentioned FEATHERS BOUTIQUE here and a few other times on DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS...STYLE!!!- and, again, extremely excited to see this boutique getting national attention! Check out the article from MSN's "Best Shops in the US for Vintage Clothes":
Folks are still in love with a $5.00 jumpsuit I snagged, from FEATHERS BOUTIQUE, for a photo shoot I styled Spring 2009 (See below). If you're visiting Austin don't forget to stop by FEATHERS BOUTIQUE. If you live in Austin be sure to drop in every now and then ;-)

AGAIN I SAY...
Well at least they rock SIDE OF STYLE's world!
While dressing others I have the chance to venture off into all style types...from classic/ladylike to diva/glam and everything in between! I told the client below she's SIDE OF STYLE's very own Mary J. Blige when it comes to her personal style. I'm excited every time I have the opportunity to style and or select pieces for her...she goes with the flow and wears everything exactly how I pictured it!
Not every SIDE OF STYLE client wants their photos online for public viewing and I completely understand and respect that. This particular client allowed me to photo share and I'm glad that she did! This is the perfect example of seeing a piece on a model and second guessing it because of "curves"...ladies with curves please get out of that shell! I salute you Ms. Tracy for being bold enough to attempt everything SIDE OF STYLE chooses for you...you GLAMAZON you! That's what it's all about!
Look for this Accessory Designer's pieces (on Tami Roman) on SEASON 4 of Basketball Wives Miami
