THE HOUSTON MODEL...

 Saw images of this young lady on Photographer Clyde's (www.modelmayhem.com/imageinin) camera and was blown away by her style and poise. Houston has some of the best kept secrets! This 5 foot 9 beauty, Kaniesha, has been modeling for 3 yrs. At the age of 21 she has modeled for Letoya Luckett and has music videos under her belt as well. Kaniesha styled herself for the photo shoot below...I salute you hon, keep doing your thing!

In case I hadn't mentioned I'M A SUCKER FOR VINTAGE! The treasure hunt is THE ULTIMATE high for me...and FEATHERS BOUTIQUE in Austin induced that high on my last visit! I'm yet to find another vintage boutique with the setting and the goods that Feathers Boutique offered. If you're a vintage lover and in Austin I'm sure Feathers is a regular stop for you. THE IRVING BEAUTY...

The Irving, Texas SUPERMODEL that I blogged about HERE in January is at it again. She's the face of PINKO, an Italian brand, SPRING/SUMMER 2010 ad campaign. Gorgeous gal, haute clothing, and a camera were the only things needed to make this one of the hottest shoots I've seen this season!

THE HOUSTON "TEEN" MODEL...

I had to put an emphasis on the word teen because I'm still impressed with Chelseaa's drive after working with her, during a photo shoot in Downtown Houston, this past Saturday. At such a young age she's assisting the Neil Hamil Agency (one of the top modeling agencies in Houston), conducting "HOW TO" seminars, finding time to book photo shoots for herself and others, and the list goes on...oh and let's not forget GOING TO SCHOOL. I don't expect for Miss Chelseaa to slow down ANYTIME soon...but I do hope you remember her name! The concept behind the shoot was given to me by the photographer: monocolor outfit, no accessories, and a pair of heels. The red "X" covers the face to symbolize how "THE INDUSTRY" seems to look past younger models and photographers these days...and that's where the RAW talent is at in my opinion. The young photographer's drive is just as impressive and I'm mentally saluting him as I type this lol. Less is more and this is one my favorite wardrobe styling concepts to date!
