"COOL" is in Houston...

If you really knew me you'd know that I HEART VINTAGE clothing and style (Yes I stole the "If you really knew me you'd know..." line from that show on MTV lol)!! I took notice to Mr. Barkley Hendricks's work a couple years ago via an art blog...he combined the two (vintage clothing and style) to the point where it's SO REAL it's UNREAL! It took my breath away to know Mr. Hendricks's work has been on display here in Houston since January 30, 2010! Where have I been? After being mesmerized by his work online I can only imagine what it will be like to be in the same room with it...yep I'm excited! If you are in Houston you still have time to visit Mr. Hendricks's "BIRTH OF COOL" exhibition at  Contemporary Arts Museum Houston until April 18, 2011.
